I'm honored to support you on your path to obtaining your clinical license. I offer virtual and in-person clinical supervision for ASWs, AMFTs, APCCs throughout California.
My Approach to Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision tailored for associate clinicians, aimed at providing you with robust support for your growth as a therapist. This encompasses developing your clinical and professional skills, expanding your knowledge base, and refining your perspectives to foster both competence and confidence in your therapy practice.
Supervision serves as a crucial safeguard for clients, offers essential support for practitioners, and upholds the standards of professionalism and quality care. (More about supervision from the BBS)
I deeply value the unique bond between supervisor and supervisee, built on trust, openness, respect, and care. Your time spent in supervision as an associate significantly shapes your professional journey and outlook. As an LCSW, I approach my role as a clinical supervisor with a sense of stewardship towards the mental health profession, acknowledging the significance of this work.
My aim as your clinical supervisor is to create a safe and nurturing space where you feel empowered, encouraged, and supported in your development as a therapist and clinician.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to:
Gain insights into the realms of private practice and, particularly beneficial if you're interested in specializing in: Eating Disorders, Traumas, Addictions, and Depression.
Connect with fellow associate social workers through group supervision, fostering a community of learning and growth.
Enhance your clinical skills through engaging activities such as book clubs, case studies, presentations, and ethical discussions.

Q & A
Can I seek supervision outside of my agency or employer?
Yes. If the supervisor is not employed by the supervisee’s employer or is a volunteer, a written oversight agreement that addresses the supervisor’s and employer’s responsibilities must be signed by the supervisor and the employer prior to commencement of supervision agreement. (I take care of all of this when we begin!)
How often do I meet with my supervisor?
The amount of supervision you need each week depends on how much client contact you have.
Supervisees are required to obtain one unit of supervision (1 hour of individual or triadic or 2 hours of group) during any week in which experience is gained in each setting.
If the supervisee provides more than 10 hours of direct clinical counseling during a single week in a work setting, the supervisee must receive a total of two (2) units of supervision in that same week in that setting.
Supervision hours can be completed through a combination of individual and group sessions.
What's the investment?
$200 per hour for both in-person and virtual supervision.
